Keep donors connected to your cause

Show donors what their support means with a thank-you that acknowledges their contribution. Use the donor details you import to make the message personal, then keep supporters involved with news of your work or your next appeal.

Use postcards for a short thank-you or event invitation, and letters when you need more room for your story. Upload the content you've prepared, choose your supporters and let us handle printing, addressing and postage.

FAQ

Questions about donor mail

What makes a nonprofit direct mail campaign useful?

Give supporters a clear reason to read and respond. Choose donors whose history fits your appeal, explain what their support will do and make the next step clear. Follow up with a thank-you that acknowledges their contribution.

Can you mail donation receipts we've prepared?

Yes. Upload the receipt PDF your charity has prepared and send it as a letter. Direct Mailer prints and mails your document; your charity remains responsible for preparing and issuing the receipt.

Do you check the addresses on our donor list?

Yes. With address verification for Canada, every donor address is checked against Canada Post's addressing rules. You can review corrections and failed addresses before mailing. Contacts with failed addresses are left out of list and segment mailings.

How much does a donor mailing cost?

Your mailing cost depends on the format, your plan and how many supporters you contact. Printing, addressing and postage are included in the per-piece price. Extra letter sheets are charged separately.

Can we use data from our donor database?

Yes. Export a CSV from your donor database and import names, addresses and custom fields such as gift date or amount. You can also use the API from your own code to keep contacts current.

What happens when donor mail comes back?

Returned mail goes to the return address you provide. Mark it returned in Direct Mailer to update its status and put the contact on do not mail. That contact is then excluded from future list and segment mailings.
