Questions about direct mail pricing
Which postcard and letter formats can I send?
Choose a 4x6, 6x9 or 6x11 postcard, or send a letter in colour or black and white. Letters include one sheet, with extra sheets charged separately. The rates above show the price for each format.
How much of my price is postage?
Postage is included in your price per piece. Its share depends on your mail’s size and weight. Use our Canada Post postage calculator to compare postage with the cost of printing, addressing and mailing through Direct Mailer.
Can I send letters with extra sheets?
Yes. Each letter includes one sheet, and you can add extra sheets for an additional charge, up to five sheets per letter. Check the current rates before sending a longer letter.
Can I send flyers to every home in an area?
Direct Mailer sends addressed postcards and letters, so each recipient needs an address. If you want to send unaddressed flyers to an entire area, Canada Post offers Neighbourhood Mail separately.
How does your direct mail pricing compare?

Are the prices shown here final?
Yes. The listed price includes printing, addressing and postage. You pay for live sends from your prepaid balance. If you choose Subscribe and save, your plan also has a monthly subscription fee.
How does my prepaid balance work?
Add funds by card, then use your balance to pay for live sends. We reserve the price when you create a mailing. If a piece is cancelled before printing or fails, its charge goes back to your balance.
Can I test before paying for a send?
Yes. Test mode is free on the direct mail API. Test sends never print or charge, so you can check your setup and webhook updates before switching to a live key.
